Clinical Research Associate of the year - 2008

Congratulations to Erik Lõvquist, Computer Engineer, Interaction Design Centre, University of Limerick on being selected as "Clinical Research Associate of the Year" at the Irish Medical Times/Irish Healthcare Awards 2008.
The Irish Healthcare Awards 2008 have been developed to recognise and reward people and projects that have made a difference and demonstrate excellence, originality and innovation in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry over the past year. Erik's award was in recognition for his work on the development of a spinal simulator in collaboration with the Anaesthetic Department, Cork University Hospital and which is continuing with the MedCAP project




Erik, pictured above, was presented with his prize at a black-tie ceremony on October 16th in the Ballroom of the Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin at which the Minister for Health, Ms. Mary Harney was the guest speaker.
